The Prince’s Trust Urban Music Festival took place at Earl’s Court, London on the weekend of 8th and 9th May to an audience in excess of 30,000. Jay-Z lead the UK’s largest ever urban music event, which also featured Alicia Keys, Beyonce, Amy Winehouse The Streets and Dizzee Rascal. The following year the event was headlined by US actor and rapper Will Smith. The Prince’s Trust gives young people opportunities, skills and confidence to help them get their lives working.
